Rosslyn
10 month, 50lb Spayed Girl
Rosslyn is housebroken and crate
trained. She has been
to puppy obedience school through Puppy Love Training in College
Station, and knows some basic commands with clicker training
reinforcement. She knows sit, down, wait, “go to your box” for going in
the crate, come (with few distractions), stay (with few
distractions), leave it, “mine now” for taking something away
from her, and high five. Rosslyn was rescued as a stray, and is
current on vaccinations, is spayed and micro-chipped.
Rosslyn
is very friendly and affectionate towards people.
She does tend to jump up on them, including children, so
she needs to be introduced on a leash and asked to sit before
meeting someone.
She is very excited about new people.
Rosslyn has cohabitated peacefully with other dogs in the
past, including a 15-pound rat terrier and a 100-pound cattle dog.
She would do best with one other dog or as the only dog in
the house.
Because she likes to chase things, I do not think she would
do well with cats or with other small animals, like rabbits.

Bailey
35lb Girl
Bailey
had been running around our neighborhood for about a week that my
girlfriend fell in love with. She gets along with other dogs and
is at the bottom of the pack. No owner was ever found.
She’s the dog on the right. She’s only about 35lbs, but I
don’t know what breed. She’s very pretty and very smart,
although not very housetrained. She does potty on a pad if it’s
down, but she doesn’t ask to go out.

Cookie
1 yr 4 months spayed girl
Cookie was rescued and was in bad
shape. She's now healthy and ready for adoption. She is current on
rabies and distemper shots. She has also been spayed and micro-chipped.
Cookie is very sweet and loves attention. She has spent the past
year with us in our small apartment in our back yard. She gets
along great with other dogs and with kids as she has spent the
past year with my 9, 6 and 4 yr old. Cookie has been an outdoor
dog but would do fine inside too. She weighs 44.4 pounds.
Cookie currently is on flea treatment and is flea free

Sweetie
1 yr spayed girl
We named her Sweetie because she
has an awfully sweet personality. When we rescued Sweetie she
weighed 38 pounds and was really underweight. Sweetie now weighs
51 lbs. Sweetie had obviously had puppies before we got her but
she has now been spayed, gotten her rabies and distemper and
micro-chipped. Sweetie is on Iverhart Plus Heartworm for a mild
case of heartworms per the vets recommendation. The vet says this
method will shorten the life of the heartworms and Sweetie should
be just fine.
Sweetie is great with other dogs
and kids. She is housebroken, she runs to the door when she needs
to go potty. Sweetie also knows how to sit on command. She loves
to go to the park with me and the kids every morning and go on a
mile walk with us. Sweetie is a dog that can jump Very high and
whoever adopts her should know she is scared to death when it
rains and thunders. and will run off if given the
opportunity during a storm unless brought in the house. .
Sweetie is a black and tan hound
possibly mixed with lab according to the vet. She is approximately
1 year old. It would be nice if she could find a family she could
be indoors so she would feel safe during storms..

Freeway
3-4 month old Lab mix boy
Freeway was found by the highway
and was half starved and covered with fleas. He is
light tan in color, very short hair, and looks like a lab cross of
some type. He seems to be very sweet, smart and gets along well
with our other dogs and cats.

Beulah
4 year old girl
Beulah is a ranch dog that was named
from a character in the 'Hank the Cowdog' book series. In
the books, she was Hank's "true love." She was
left abandoned on the porch of a home in the country. I
rescued and have fostered her and kept her current on shots.
She has been spayed, is probably around four years of age and
weighs around 70 pounds. When not around other dogs, she is
gentle, loving, happy and eager to please. She in in
excellent health. Beulah would fit very well into a forever
home as an only dog with no cats. She loves people and will
lay down and let you love all over her. She occasionally
gets jealous when around other dogs. She has lived outdoors and
needs to be contained in a fenced in area.
