Beaux - Horses - True Blue Animal Rescue

Hello to all and Happy New Year!

Mike, Mel, and Brandon, would like to introduce our newest member of our family. This is Surfer Dude (Beaux Horse # 111 from True Blue Animal Rescue). Our family has adopted a yearling Palomino/Appaloosa. He was abused and neglected, when I first saw him he was skin and bones and was in the rehab section of the rescue web site www.t-bar.org. I fell in love! We kept an eye on him and waited for him to be ready for adoption. Mike, Brandon, Nathan, and I made a trip to Washington, Texas to see him. There we met Melanie and Dale DeAeth and their family, and of course Beaux, now as Mike has named him Surfer Dude hence the picture will tell all. The DeAeth family are WONDERFUL people, and all the greatness they do for these abused and neglected animals, dogs, cats, horses, pigs, goats etc......

Melanie and Dale work full time jobs and run the rescue also, how awesome is that! Please enjoy the pictures of "Dude" he is learning to trust people and allows me to pick up his front feet and rub him all over, this week will be working on the back legs (he needs his feet trimmed). We are so glad to have him in our lives, he has a forever home here no hate, abuse, or neglect here just pure genuine LOVE.

Oh and by the way we will never tell him he was adopted, abused, or neglected, all we want him to know is LOVE and KINDNESS. Please look at the pictures I think he is smiling! Best wishes for all in 2008, YOU CAN NEVER TRAVEL TO FAR FOR A BEST FRIEND!
