Asheilah,
Peppa and Milo were wandering the streets with their mother when a
kind person took them in and cared for them. When the pups were old
enough they were donated to True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR) so we could
find them a good forever home. Asheilah and Peppa had
extensive training in their foster home; and as a result, have fabulous
manners! Asheilah is an all-around great dog - gets along with other
dogs, loves people, and loves attention. And she's beautiful with her
brindle color and white chest. This 2 year old American Staffordshire
Terrier is past the puppy chewing stage and is ready to settle into a
family of her own. She's happy living outside and would love a dog companion
to play with. She's waiting for a family that will love her and keep her

skin and bones. An angel must have guided her steps to the place where she
could find refuge and food. You can tell
from her body that this poor girl has seen better times, but that hasn't
diminished her loving attitude and fun-loving spirit. Kate needs a very

Description:
Betty's
story is all too common. She was found dumped on the back roads in
Bryan - a skinny girl. Mistaken for a Pitt Bull, the Bryan
shelter said she would be euthanized without a chance to find a
loving home. After some desperate phone calls, Betty found a safe haven at
True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR). Betty seems to know how close she came to
losing her life and is making up for it. She's very sweet and loving.
She gets along with other dogs, enjoys attention, comes when called and has
a calm, sweet nature. Look at that sweet face and those big, soft eyes.
Don't they just call to you? She loves stuffed toys and will carry them
around and sleep with them in her dog house. This beautiful, 3 yr old,
yellow/tan and white Boxer mix is past the puppy stage of
chewing, needing more time & energy. She's happy being outside,
but would be happy being inside with you and a dog
companion. She's ready and waiting to settle into a family of her own that

Description: Puppy Chow
is spayed all vaccinated, heartworm negative, house broken, knows the dog
door, and is great with all the other dogs. She was dropped off at a Humane
Society where they were going to give her 3 days and then put her down. She
is good with older kids and likes to run around the yard with them; she is
real good inside, very well behaved and listens when you tell her something.
Puppy Chow likes to sleep in the bed with you, if you let her. Very sweet personality, not demanding. Puppy Chow is
a really cool dog and very smart.

Description: All the cards in the
deck seemed to be dealt against this girl. Her first home was a
trailer on rural acreage; but when she was about 4 months old,
it burned to the ground. It was only a rental occupancy; and the people who
lived there, left that night never to return. Maybe they thought Brandy died
in the fire. She had not, however; and a few days later, a scared,
cold, shivering pup crept up on another neighbor's porch. That
home at least did not chase her away. She was allowed to stay
near the house and under the porch for shelter. They tried their
best to feed her; and with charitable support were able to get
her spayed and vaccinated. Another bad card - Brandy's new home was in bad
shape and eventually was no longer inhabitable. The family found a new
home, but dogs were not welcome. At that point, a nearby
sanctuary stepped up and offered Brandy a place to stay.
Despite all the hard luck, Brandy has matured into a beautiful,
healthy and loving girl. Some of her manners aren't so
sophisticated, she was raised a country girl after all, but she
learns quickly and wants nothing more that to please
those who give her the love and attention. Her leash
manners have improved quickly with only a few short lessons.
There is not telling how far she might go with consistent love in a
forever home. Won't you give Brandy a chance to fully become all
that she has the potential to be?
