Betty08 T-Bar Name: Betty T-Bar Number: D131 Weight: 40 lbs
Sex: Spayed Female Age on 2/2010:  5 years
Breed: Boxer X
Color:  Tan and white
ADOPTED – Thank You!
DescriptionBetty’s story is all too common. She was found dumped on the back roads in Bryan – a skinny girl. Mistaken for a Pitt Bull, the Bryan shelter said she would be euthanized without a chance to find a loving home. After some desperate phone calls, Betty found a safe haven at True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR). Betty seems to know how close she came to losing her life and is making up for it. She’s very sweet and loving. She gets along with other dogs, enjoys attention, comes when called and has a calm, sweet nature. Look at that sweet face and those big, soft eyes. Don’t they just call to you? She loves stuffed toys and will carry them around and sleep with them in her dog house. This beautiful, 5 yr old, yellow/tan and white Boxer mix is past the puppy stage of chewing, needing more time & energy. She’s happy being outside, but would be happy being inside with you and a dog companion. She’s ready and waiting to settle into a family of her own that will love her and keep her forever. Of course, she’s spayed and had all her shots. Betty is picture here with TBAR’s Fundraising Coordinator, Kathryn Turnbull.
