Janice has worked in the equine industry in a number of capacities, including as riding instructor, trainer, breeder, stable manager, barn owner, feed store owner, horse show manager, open show judge, horse show announcer, columnist, consultant, and has been retained as an expert in her field to give testimony in a court of law.

She has worked with every discipline from Western Pleasure and Barrel races to Paso's and Hunters. She is heard saying that "A horse is still a horse, no matter what he's doing or what breed he is".

Janice is currently writing a book on 'The Language and Psychology of The Horse". And has conducted lectures and seminars throughout the country on this topic. She has clients as far as England and Germany to Egypt.

But on this day, Janice will help us learn how to handle our wild horses and get them haltered the quickest way possible without "man handling" with the possibility of hurting ourselves or the horse. And to not "break" a horse's spirit. Which will make the horse you are working with more trusting of you and what you want him to do. If you would like to read more about what Janice has done and has in store, you can go to http://www.janiceterra.com/index.htm and read all about her.

Please bring your own lawn chair to sit and watch Janice work.

Right after Janice's demonstration, we will break for lunch. This will be a pot luck lunch, so please be sure to bring a dish (snack or dessert). We can sit around, eat and talk.

Shortly after having lunch, we will start the members meeting. After the members meeting, you can either go home or stay with us and help us get new pictures for our website so that we can get our animals adopted. Some we have had here for a very long time and they deserve their own home.

If you need to know directions, please email Melanie at melhd63@aol.com and she will give you her address and directions on how to get there if you have never been to T-Bar.

Please email me at pintxcowgirl@favoringwindsranch.com to let me know if you are coming and if you are bringing a friend and to let me know what you are bringing so we don't end up with all desserts to eat. Although I wouldn't mind all desserts, it would be better if we had a variety of food.

We hope that this meeting will be very interesting for you and we are eager to get your input on what we might be able to do or input to make T-Bar a better organization to help the animals.

Sincerely,

Loretta (Lacy) Pinnell
Southeast Foster Home Coordinator
