Pet Fest 2006 is a weekend event in Old Town Spring, Texas dedicated to finding homes for the many wonderful animals in shelters and rescue groups across the Houston and surrounding areas. We invite you to grab your furkids and join us for this fun-filled festival of entertainment and education while helping raise money, volunteers and foster homes. There will be contests, demonstrations, seminars, music and entertainment by John Prince of 106.9 - The Point, and even a "Yappy Hour" to keep you and your pets entertained. Come see the latest in pet fashions, shop with all the vendors and the pet friendly stores in Old Town Spring, and find out what your pet is thinking with Houston's favorite Pet Psychic, Lisa Greene! Market Days True Blue Animal Rescue will have a booth at the Equestrian Market Day in College Station on Saturday, August 19, from 10 AM to 3 PM. This event will be in the Louis Pearce Pavilion which is air conditioned. It is a great flea market sale for horse related items. We'll be selling TBar t-shirts, cookbooks and our spay / neuter magnets. We'll also be showing pictures of our animals in hopes of finding some foster or adoptive homes. Day Many of the adorable TBar dogs will join the Animals TLC Pet Parade at 11 AM at the Brenham Courthouse and flaunt their cuteness. TBar will also have a booth, featuring adoptable pets, across the street from the courthouse and Legends Grill. The famous cookbooks, magnets, t-shirts ( TBar and Extreme Makeover Home Edition), and other treats will be available and free plants for anyone who donates a bag of dog or cat food for the new Meals on Wheels for Pets program! Downtown Brenham will be filled with flowers, plants, great food booths, entertainers & music, children's activities, antique cars, tractors, model airplanes. Admission & parking are free!
