Description: Izzy was a Texas A & M
polo pony. She fractured her cannon bone and although she is healed and
isn't lame, she cannot be used for polo anymore. She'd make a great kids
lead line or walk only horse. She's well trained and very sweet. As you can
see she's very tall!

Description: Gracie was donated to
TBAR and is emaciated. Her body registers a 1 on the Henneke Body Scale - as
low as it gets. She's only 2 years old and has been starved most of her
short life. She has to be given food slowly because she doesn't know that
she will never go without food again. (picture taken at her previous
home)
- Update: April 14, 2008: Gracie has
put on a lot of weight and her winter coat is shedding out in chunks!
It's hard to catch her with her head up, she's eating all the time.
Thanks to your support, Gracie is getting the care and feed she needs to
get back to health!

condition. He looked as bad as Gracie, his pasture companion.
- Update: April 14, 2008: Valentino
has put on a lot of weight and his winter coat is shedding out in
chunks! You can see how skinny he is in his new photo; and that's after
2 months of proper food. Thanks to your support, Valentino is getting
the care and feed he needs to get back to health! He still has a ways to
go, but he's on his way!
