Description:
Moriah was donated to TBAR
when his loving 'mom' was moving out of state and could not take him with
her. She thought she'd found someone who would take care of JJ, but when
they went to visit, JJ was skin and bones. After spending months at the vet
to get healthy again, TBAR was contacted to find JJ a forever home. JJ
is very passive and can not defend himself, so he has to eat with other
docile horses. He has very few teeth left and requires a diet of Equine
Senior and One and Only to keep his weight on.
JJ's feed costs over $100 a month. Please consider
sponsoring JJ and supporting senior horses or donate a bag of Senior Feed
($15) - every bit helps!

Description:
Moriah was donated to TBAR
when his loving 'mom' could no longer afford to keep him, She wanted a
loving retirement home for this family pet. Moriah needs to put on some weight and have some farrier work done due to a
previous founder.
Update 9/2007: Moriah has put on weight and requires
Senior feed and One and Only to keep his weight. With trimming, his hooves
are almost normal; however, Moriah has recently had to be kept off of grass
because his front feet were sore. Moriah is in love with his foster
home's girl pony. Moriah's feed costs over $100 a month. Please consider
sponsoring Moriah and supporting senior horses.
- Update 10/2008: Moriah looks like a white
unicorn out of a science fiction movie with his long, flowing mane and
tail that glistens in the sun. He's happy and enjoying retirement. It
still takes a lot of Equine Senior to keep Moriah at a healthy weight,
so please considering donating.

Description: Midnight is gentle around
adults and children; and gets along with other animals. He is broke to ride
and trail ready. He is well trained both on the ground and under saddle,
loves to be brushed and petted and just an all around sweet horse. See
another picture of Midnight with his brother.
- Update: July 2008: Midnight is
enjoying his retired life, living with TBar's Moriah and JJ. He loves
his feed and hay; and doesn't seem to know how big he really is - all
1300lbs! His melanomas do not seem to be growing, which is good news.
Update: July 2007: Midnight has been
diagnosed with melanoma - on his lip, several others on his tail and under
his tail. The vet said by the looks of things he might live another two
years - the best case scenario.

his life with love:
