Description:
Moriah was donated to TBAR
when his loving 'mom' could no longer afford to keep him, She wanted a
loving retirement home for this family pet. Moriah needs to put on some weight and have some farrier work done due to a
previous founder.
Update 9/2007: Moriah has put on weight and requires
Senior feed and One and Only to keep his weight. With trimming, his hooves
are almost normal; however, Moriah has recently had to be kept off of grass
because his front feet were sore. Moriah is in love with his foster
home's girl pony. Moriah's feed costs over $125 a month. Please consider
sponsoring Moriah and supporting senior horses.
- Update 10/2008: Moriah looks like a white
unicorn out of a science fiction movie with his long, flowing mane and
tail that glistens in the sun. He's happy and enjoying retirement. It
still takes a lot of Equine Senior to keep Moriah at a healthy weight,
so please considering donating.

significantly underweight. She measures a '1' on the Henneke Scale used to
rate body condition. The scale goes from 1 to 9. She is the least skinny of
the three, although this picture doesn't show just how skinny she is.
Captain, Dolly and Blanca were all rideable, kid-broke, gentle horses before
being neglected.
- Update: April 14, 2008: Blanca has
put on a lot of weight and is looking better every day. Thanks to
your support, she is getting the care and feed he needs to get back to
health!
Update August 2008: Blanca has a girl
of her very own now!
- UPDATE 2011: Blanca's family moved

family that has fallen in-love with her. She will live out the rest of
her years there. Congratulations Blanca and THANK YOU foster family!

Description: Bella’s history is one which has become all
too common. Bella was rescued by True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR) along with
many other horses who were starving and neglected. This lovely 25 yr. old
dark bay mare has made a remarkable recovery thanks to the tender care and
good food she has received at her foster home. Now Bella needs her own
special forever home to complete a happy ending for her. She is very tame
and well-trained and has potential as a good kids’ horse or just a
friendly companion.
