Description: Festus – the horse who thinks he’s a dog. This small (14 hands) dark bay horse was found estray and turned over to True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR). He had apparently sustained a broken leg which healed crooked because it was not properly set. Festus can walk just fine but cannot be ridden. At about 8 yrs. old, his personality is well defined and very appealing. Festus is super friendly and just loves attention; he will follow you around like a tame pet pooch. He’s very curious and totally fearless, and will explore everything around him. Please consider giving Festus a forever home of his own. He’ll make you a great companion.
