Description: Bree was one of 57 horses badly neglected and awarded to True Blue Animal Rescue. She is back to a healthy weight, full of Arabian spirit and ready to train. From Bree's foster home: She only needs someone who has time to devote to train her - she is very smart. She is shy around new people and only needs to know she is safe and can trust them.. She is the alpha horse in the ones I have and the first one to the grain. She halters, loads, loves to be groomed, lunges, backs up, moves to the side with the touch of my finger, doesn't kick, knows her name and is a doll of a horse. To see her run, I believe she will be an awesome ride. Both horses need conditioning to noises (paper bags, etc.) as they both will take flight or back away pretty quickly. She is young and needs someone who has time to devote to her daily and I believe they will have one heck of a horse. I have not tried to saddle her, but from what I hear from other fosters/adoptees of the Hopkins County horses, the people who have had time to work with them have been able to ride them with no problem. She is beautiful and healthy.

Description: Prissy Kisses is a bay mare that is broke to ride but due to arthritis can only be ridden at a walk. Her tongue was almost severed in an old injury but it makes it hard for her to chew her food so she needs lots of senior to maintain her weight.

	Abilities: Pricilla had a broken front leg just over a year ago. Her leg was not set and is slightly crooked. She is a companion only, although she runs and plays in the pasture without any difficulty. She is timid with other horses and is fine with dogs, cats, donkeys and goats. She is great with people and loves kids.

Description: The Burleson County Sheriff's Department called because they had a stray horse that was skinny and asked if we'd take him. The original owner has been in prison for a year; and his 83 year old mother was supposed to be taking care of him but, obviously, wasn't doing a good job. She agreed to sign him over to TBar and completed and signed the donation contract. According to the paperwork, he's 15 years old. He is rideable; and the guys at the auction barn said they used to see the owner ride him all around. He is a stallion so he'll have to be castrated when he gains some weight. Warrior rates as a '1' on the Henneke Scale. Update Nov 2008: Warrior finally gained enough weight to have his teeth floated. Poor guy had bleeding sores in his mouth from his sharp, pointy teeth. Now he'll be able to eat without pain, so we expect him to gain weight quickly. Description: Firecracker is a sweet three year old gelding that will come up and look for attention whenever he sees people. He has not been trained but is ready to start under saddle. He's a small gelding so he'd make a great kids horse after training. He and his three pasture mates were left to starve in a field when law enforcement stepped in and took them away. They were turned over the Tbar so they could be fed and taught to love people. Since that has been done Firecracker is now looking for a forever home. Someone who can take the time to teach him everything else he needs to know to become the beautiful riding horse he was meant to be.
