Success Story: Star

TBAR-Adopted-Dog-StarRemember Star? she was in the streets, alone and afraid. Lots of people walked past her but nobody would help till Gisele saw her and couldn’t get her out of her mind. . She went back and took it upon herself to rescue this poor hairless dog. She treated her demodex and showed her what it was like to be loved. Gisele planned to put her up for adoption when she was healthy but before too long it was obvious that a bond had been made and Star was there to stay. Just look at Miss Star with Gisele on vacation. You can see the happiness and love. It is with joy in our hearts that we are announcing this foster failure. Hooray for Gisele and Star. Please consider fostering or adopting. Go to www.t-bar.org and look at all the animals that are waiting for their forever homes.

Success Story: Lexi!

TBAR-Texas-Animal-Rescue-LexiLook who went to a new home this week! Lexi, now named Daisy went to live with another True Blue Rescue dog, Sully! This is a great family and so far Daisy is fitting right in. She can’t believe that all those toys could be for her! Foster homes are nice but all rescue animals dream of a forever home all their own. We have a lot more puppies looking for homes. If you’re thinking about adopting go to www.t-bar.org and take a look.

Happy Tails: Piper

TBAR-Texas-Happy-Tails-PiperLast week we shared Piper and his post-skunk encounter crazy hair as our #TBARFluff and we wanted to follow that up with a look back at how far he has come, and how happy he is now in his forever home! Here’s Piper, before and after. This poor dog was abandoned and starving in the streets. He’s a small dog and survived by hiding in a culvert Pipe in a driveway. Lucky for him one kind person couldn’t look away and made it her business to catch him and get him help. She became his foster Mom and then adopted. Here he is spoiled and happy in his new home. A true rags to riches story!

Success Story: Moonshine!

TBAR-Texas-Success-Story-MoonshineMoonshine finally found his perfect match. His foster Mom has been working with him and getting him more comfortable with brushing, washing and cross ties. Meanwhile, she fell in love and finalized his adoption. Lucky Moonshine and his new Mom, Laura!

Success Story: Apollo

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Texas-Apollo-SS

We were lucky to pull this sweet baby out of a kill shelter as a baby but it took him a few months for him to find his furever family. He was doing well in his foster family but when Bill, Brandee and Will came out to meet some of the dogs at True Blue Animal Rescue he connected with them immediately. His normally shy personality was gone as he leaped into Bill’s lap and sat next to Will for attention! This IS a match made in heaven and lucky for me, I get to keep up with him and his new family. Another GREAT family adopts from True Blue Animal Rescue! Thank you!

Success Story: Mocha

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Adopted-MochaMocha is the last of Hope’s puppies. Everyone loves a puppy so a lot of people got to pet her and spend time with her but when her foster family took her camping, but Rod and Lisa met her they fell in love! Lucky for Mocha they decided to adopt and took this sweet little girl home from the campground. Here’s some pictures of this sweet girl with her family!

Happy Tails: Teddy and Ana

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Happy-Tails-AnnaToday’s “Happy Tails” is both Ana and Teddy! They were both in foster homes that fell in love with them and decided to adopt!! Hooray for Teddy and Ana! They will be staying right where they are forever! We LOVE foster failures 😉

Success Story: Mocha / Reese

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Success-Story-Dog-Reese-MochaSuccess story Wednesday! Here is Mocha, one of the last of Hope’s puppies. Mocha was adopted by a couple that came all the way from Austin to adopt her. They changed her name to Reece, which is very fitting! Just look at cute little Reece in her new home! Lucky puppy and lucky family!

Congrats on your new forever family Reece! And thank you to her new owners for opening their hearts and homes to adopt a new family member!

TBAR Sucess Story: Olaf!

True Blue Animal Rescue Success Story Olaf

Today we are happy to share that Olaf found his forever home this weekend! He has been waiting for this day for quite some time, and he would like to extend his warm thanks to both of his loving foster moms that took such good care of him. We would like to thank them as well, and also thank his new family for opening their hearts and home to him. Congrats on your new life, Olaf!
