Pet of the week: Elmer

elmer1

Elmer was born shortly after his mother, Mamma-Lynne, was rescued along with 26 other horses. They were all starved and Elmer is one of the miracles! Elmer is a really neat horse. He is odd, in a good way. He seems to prefer human company over horses. He leaves the herd to follow people. He even comes up for petting and to be the center of your attention. He has been started under saddle. He would be someone’s best friend, loyal and faithful, like a big dog! Elmer would do well with a younger rider or someone who would make this amazing boy their world. He would certainly return the favor! Elmer is absolutely beautiful as well as unique and very regal in posture. He has a very fluid, graceful movement about him and makes you catch your breath when he is in motion.

Zeus

pet_4162_2

Zeus is a sweet, loving little 1 year old kitty who is looking for his forever family. He loves play time almost as much as he loves dinner time and would prefer to stay cuddled up with his foster all day if he could. He even tolerates when his human sister dresses him up or takes him on a walk around the house in his very own baby stroller. Zeus got his name because he was the biggest out of a litter of 8 and he felt like he was the big man in town – though his sisters often corrected this misguided thought. Zeus is available for adoption through T-Bar! Please consider adding this adorable boy to your family and he will show you the joy your life was missing. Contact True Blue Animal Rescue to inquire about adopting! Email: [email protected] Phone:(936) 878-2349

Pet of the Week: Polar Bear

Polar Bear #2

Polar Bear is a Great Pyrenees. He is an adult male, neutered, up to date with routine shots, house trained. You can tell by his picture why he was named Polar Bear.

This sweet Great Pyrenees dog wandered up to a kind person who couldn’t turn him away. This poor dog had a large, infected cut on his leg that needed medical attention so he contacted TBAR for help with the vet bills and help finding Polar Bear a forever home.

Polar bear is very friendly with children and adults and does well with the smaller dogs in his foster home. He loves to run and play all day long and would do well with a big yard or some land to run on. Polar Bear gives lots of hugs and adores getting pets and belly rubs. He walks well on a leash. All he needs now is the perfect family to take him home and love him!
For more information on how to adopt Polar Bear, please email [email protected] or call (936) 878-2349.

Pet of the Week: Smokey

Smokey2014
Please Help me find my forever home, Love Smokey

The best of both worlds indoor and outdoor! Smokey is a beautiful, sweet, 1 year old gray/white neutered male who will happily mouse outside and keep your place rodent-free. He will also come inside and love on you snuggling up on your chest, purring like crazy, giving you cat kisses and sleeping on your bed. Smokey does great with adults and older children; and loves dogs of all sizes. He would love to be your one and only cat*. He wants you all to himself!

Smokey was found dumped at a local restaurant where he was fending for himself as a 6 month old kitten. Even then, he was on the front porch, lobbying for someone to pick him up and love on him! We don’t know how long he was on his own, but he obviously learned to hunt. Thankfully, a True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR) member rescued him and rehabilitated him. Smokey is now happy, healthy, neutered, vaccinated and socialized. All he needs now is YOU! Are you looking for a one-of-a-kind, best of both worlds cat? If you are great!

Please contact TBAR (see below). If not, would you please share Smokeys page and think of him when you’re talking to your friends? Smokey thanks you for helping him find his forever home!

For more information email [email protected] or call 936-878-2349.

* Smokey might get along with girl cats; but does not like other boys.

She is up to date on all of her shots, spayed and ready for her family to find her. She is approximately 4 yrs old, and is hoping for her forever home.
