Success Story: Hope

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-2015-Hope-SuccessSuccess Story!

Here’s Hope and her new Mom. She was rescued from a shelter with her six babies. Most of her puppies are in new homes now too! Hope’s new Mom saw her picture and fell in love. Then, when she came to meet her she knew it was meant to be! We couldn’t be happier for Hope and her new family!

Happy Tails: Rocky

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Throwback-Success-RockyDo you remember the surprise litter of puppies that came from our senior rescue, Sage, this past summer? Well here is the little boy of the litter, Rocket Raccoon! He has turned into a beautiful dog, and is very happy in his new forever home! He now goes by the name of “Rocky”!

We love it when our adoptive homes share updates, it is a thrill for us to see how much the animals have grown and adjusted in their new families, and it gives us the motivation to keep going with animal rescue. Please send us your updates to [email protected] and we would love to share them with our Facebook family!

Success Stories: Hazel Grace, Monica and Rachel

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Success-Story-Hazel-Grace-Rachel-Monica-AdoptedWhen spring is in the air people start opening their homes to new furry family members! This week we are happy to share three recent adoptions! Hazel Grace, Rachel and Monica were strays when a kind person took them in as a True Blue Animal Rescue foster home. Monica and Rachel found wonderful new homes and the foster home fell in love with their Mother, Hazel Grace. Here are the pups with their new families, as well as the beautiful Hazel Grace, relaxing at her forever home. We love happy endings and when it’s times 3 it is even more joyful!

Success Stories: Sadie and a Hope Puppy!

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Success-Stories-April-8Success stories of the week are Sadie and one of the Hope puppies! You can see the puppy (named Maddie) here with her new mom – they look so happy together! Next is Sadie, the little Min pin mix girl. She found her forever home and is loving her new life. She enjoys playing fetch and running in her new yard and when the day is done she gets to sleep on her new Mom’s bed.

Maddie has two sisters (Mocha and Dotty) who still need forever homes. Please contact [email protected] to learn more about them, or view them at:http://www.t-bar.org/adopt-dogs/

Throwback Thursday: Lucia

PicMonkey Collage LuluLucia, or “Lulu” is a fun Throwback Thursday! She was adopted in 2007 after being fostered by Teresa, one of our Officers and Board members. Eight years later, Lulu’s adoptive family have become a big part of TBAR. Olivia (now a TBAR Officer) and Jason take beautiful pictures of our TBAR animals to help us find them forever homes! You can see Lucia’s photos, the one with the background was her original listing photo (when she was called “Palla”), then the other puppy photo from her foster mom “Can you believe it? Her first picture with us and she blinked!” and then a more recent one: “Here is one of Lucia, our little angel. One of the few times she did a sitting for me. I was photographing Jack and she decided to play too. I wish she would sit for me more often, she is a beautiful creature.”

We’d love to share your TBAR adoption story with our supporters! Please email [email protected] no matter if you adopted 10 days or 10 years ago. These updates warm our hearts!

Success Story: Albert and Jasper

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Texas-Success-Donkey-Albert-and-JasperAlbert and Jasper were adopted into a donkey dream home! They now have acres of room to wander, plenty of grass to eat, and lots places to explore. Not only that, but they also have a great new adoptive Mom who is going to work with them on haltering, leading and brushing. They’ll be eating out of her pocket in no time!!

Congrats on your new forever home!

Success Stories: Puppies Adopted March 2015!

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Success-Puppies-Adopted-March-2015Here are the Hope Puppies that have already found their forever homes! They were in a kill shelter with their mother, Hope, and they would have been euthanized if a volunteer hadn’t come forward and offered to foster them. Now, these three are all in great new adoptive homes, with just two more (and their mom) waiting for theirs! Just look at these happy faces with their happy puppies! That’s three of our sweet puppies in great new homes but we still have two more looking for homes. Adopt, don’t shop!!

Throwback Thursday: Pearl

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-TBT-Jaden-and-Pearl‪#‎TBT‬ We took in a group of horses that were being starved by their owners several years ago. They didn’t trust people so it was a challenge for anyone to adopt them. That didn’t stop his mare’s adopter, Jaden. He worked with her and was soon able to ride her! Now Jaden and Pearl have a wonderful partnership. We love happy endings like this one. It’s a true testament to what love and patience can do.

Success Story: Hawk!

True-Blue-Animal-Rescue-Texas-Success-Horse-HawkToday’s success story is Hawk! He was in an abusive home as a colt so True Blue Animal Rescue took him in along with another colt. He had been starved by his owner and didn’t trust people which made it hard to find someone to adopt him. We sent him to Juan Vendrell of TC Ranch ventures and since that time we could halter him, saddle him and he finally started to trust people! He went to a new foster home and before too long they fell in love with him and decided to adopt. Here’s Hawk when he came to us and again with his family members, horse and human. He’s grown up to be a beautiful boy!!
