Pet of the Week: Judge
Today our pet of the week is this beautiful 5 month old catahoula / lab mix puppy named Judge. If you’re looking for a young dog to adopt please consider Judge. He’d be the perfect addition to any family. He walks on a leash and crates. He’s current on shots and will be neutered this month. firstname.lastname@example.org or 936-878-2349
Reminder: Our adoption fees are 1/2 off through the month of March. That’s only $75 and still includes all the vet care.
Foster Feature: Bambi
Thank you to Bambi’s foster mom for helping this sweet girl get healthy! Foster homes make all the difference.
“This is a before and today picture of Bambi.. she was the pup we found in a ditch cold and scared. She has come a long way but still has a bit to go. She is the sweetest dog in the world doesn’t bark or jump on the kids or anybody for that matter. SHe loves to be inside in her chair . She is going to be an amazing pet.” – Foster Mom
Thank you Deputy Hale!
Austin County Deputy Nathan Hale saw these horses starving and immediately pulled them and brought them to safety. They went to court and had them awarded to rescue to guarantee their safety. They are now in foster homes, gaining weight and getting vet and farrier care. We cannot thank Austin County enough for caring about animals and working toward putting an end to abuse and neglect in their county.
Pet of the Week: Roman (dog)
Today’s pet of the week is Roman. This lab / great dane mix is a big boy at 82 pounds but he’s well behaved and learns very quickly. He walks pretty well on lead. He has learned to sit, working on stay, shake paws, crawl and is easy to feed. He is a fun/goofy boy that doesn’t play well with other dogs. He’d be a great companion and guard dog in a single pet family. Email email@example.com or call 936-878-2349 if you’d like to meet and possibly adopt Roman.
Dog Adopted! Kingston (Joey)
Kingston, now named Joey, is adopted! This sweet dog was at the shelter and on his last days before euthanasia when Kelly offered to foster him and save his life. Lucky for this sweet fellow Kelly and her family fell in love with him and decided to adopt. We call this a foster failure and we LOVE foster failures because that’s one more pet that gets a home of their own for life!! Thank you Kelly for joining our long list of foster failures. We hope this list keeps growing. If you’d like to adopt a dog, cat or horse, please visit our web site www.t-bar.org to see all the animals that are waiting for their forever home. Take advantage of our half off adoption fees for dogs and cats this month too!
Pet of the Week: Gray Gelding
Here is the Gray Gelding we recently took in getting his hooves trimmed. He came to us about a month ago emaciated and with cracked hooves. He’s now getting plenty of grass and feed and gaining weight every day. Thank you Colton DeAeth of D8th Horseshoeing for fixing his feet for us. As you can see he stands nicely for a farrier and is a pretty sweet fellow. He’s about 10 years old and has a great personality. If you are thinking about fostering or adopting you might want to consider this guy. He’s going up on the web site this week to start searching for his forever home. www.t-bar.org
